Amanda Hynes Johnston: is a CIBTAC (Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) certified specialist in fashion, photographic media, and special effects makeup. She currently works for Bobbi Brown, having worked previously with Inglot cosmetics and Smashbox cosmetics. As Ruby Garnet Makeup, Amanda also does freelance work for weddings and special occasions, and for fashion photography and television . Having worked with us here at Vintage Ireland on several fashion shoots for press and for TV3’s Xpose and Ireland A.M., we can absolutely recommend her professionalism and expertise. One of the most Artistic Stylists of our time, Joyce is a Certified Vidal Sassoon creative cutting specialist, with 18 years experience, and a masters diploma from the Irish Hairdressers Federation. Joyce  is an expert in every aspect of hair care from cut and colour to upstyling. Her mobile salon provides an in your home service for weddings and special occasions, and her expertise is in demand for fashion shoots and fashion shows. In addition to all of this, Joyce teaches hairdressing courses to both professionals and non-professionals.  Joyce has worked with us here at Vintage Ireland on several fashion shoots for press and for TV3’s Xpose and Ireland A.M. and everyone from models and photographers to producers working to deadlines love her can-do attitude and ability to work  fast under pressure.

Joyce and Amanda have a particular love of vintage style, and have teamed up to offer full service vintage wedding styling along with  pre-wedding Vintage themed hen nights. Irene O’Brien is a vintage stylist, presenter and writer. Following a number of years working in the media her obsession for all things Vintage took centre stage through her whimsical blog at As well as sharing happenings from her everyday life with her readers, her blog features style updates, interviews and Vintage news.

A regular stylist on TV3’s Xpose Irene has also been featured in a number of publications such as The Irish Independent, Daily Mail, le cool and most recently she has begun contributing to the hugely popular Queens of Vintage magazine.  Irene works with Vintage stores and events around the country as an creative advisor and stylist. She also presents and MCs at a number of shows and events throughout the year. When time allows Irene works with private clients as a personal and Vintage gift shopper. She often travels around Europe visiting hidden Vintage gems and attending various fashion happenings.

Irene has provided style advice and consultancy services to Vintage Ireland since 2010, collaborating with us on several projects, including numerous fashion shoots for press and TV.
