Clayton Hotel, Ballsbridge

A three-day event, comprising fine antiques, art and jewellery offered by select traders from the UK, Ireland and Germany.

Open 11am till 7pm daily, the Fine Antiques, Art & Jewellery Fair will be held in the Thomas Prior Hall at the Clayton Hotel (formerly Bewleys), Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. This historic venue, right on the corner of Merrion and Simmonscourt Road, began life as an 18th-century Masonic school and has gone on to become an iconic landmark on the Dublin landscape, just a 2-minute walk from the RDS Arena and 5 minutes from Sandymount DART station. During the intervening century, the Thomas Prior Hall served as a chapel adjoining the school and has since been fully restored.

Throughout the three-day event, the beautiful and light-filled hall will be still further adorned, with splendid displays of finely-crafted antique furnishings, high-quality jewellery and silver, fine art and more.

Admission to the fair is €3.50 per adult. Tickets will be available at the venue 11am-7pm each day and will remain valid for all three days.

Clayton Hotel, Ballsbridge

This 4-star hotel is something of a historical landmark. Housed in an iconic Victorian building and former site of an 18th-century Masonic school, it has since become a standard bearer in fine dining and hospitality. The exhibition space, Thomas Prior Hall, once served as chapel to the adjoining school and has recently been restored, retaining most of its original features.

The Clayton Hotel, Ballsbridge also offers a wide variety of dining experiences, from its casual self-service style cafe with conservatory-style glass ceiling, to fine dining in the hotel restaurant, or the cosy booths of the Brasserie for something in between. The hotel is conveniently located just 5 minutes’ walk from Sandymount DART station and only 2 minutes’ walk from the RDS Arena.
